Although the training centre was built mainly to enhance the skills of Loyalist Township Emergency Services personnel, other fire departments from across our area keep this facility busy between April and October every year.
In addition to all regular and medical based training that we conduct annually, permission from the Ontario Fire College has been granted to deliver Firefighter Modules at our training grounds. Although these instructors come from across our region, they are mainly staffed by fire department personnel from Loyalist Township Emergency Services and Kingston Fire and Rescue.
The above courses can benefit all Fire Departments from across Eastern Ontario.
Municipal and Industrial Fire Departments throughout the Kingston area regularly attend this facility to conduct Fire Suppression Training.
Over the last ten years, hundreds of firefighters have enhanced their skills at this facility. Today, the Loyalist Township Training Centre is one of the best in Eastern Ontario.
