Alzheimer Disease is a progressive, degenerative brain disease that destroys vital brain cells. As a result of the changes to the brain, it no longer works as it used to. People with this disease become less and less able to make sense of information from the outside world. They become unable to think, remember, understand, and make decisions as before.
